About the Founder

Jessica Moment began her career in retail by accepting a position in Gap Inc.‘s executive training program after graduating from Northwestern University in 2000.  After spending four years in merchandising at Gap, Jessica chose to leave the company to attend law school in her pursuit of a non-profit career.  While in law school, Jessica conceived the idea for Philanthropist as a way to combine her two passions: fashion and philanthropy.  After graduating from the University of Berkeley School of Law in 2007 and being admitted to the California Bar, Jessica began working hard at realizing her dream of starting an ultra-luxe women’s clothing and accessories boutique that donates 100% of its profits to charity.
